Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Calgary Lending collects when you ask to be matched with a lender or broker in Calgary, who it goes to, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
From the form: the type of loan you are interested in, a rough amount, your name, phone number, email, and anything you choose to add in the message box. From a phone call: the number you called from, the time, and any voicemail you leave along with its automatic transcript.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, your Social Insurance Number, bank account or card numbers, passwords, or copies of ID. Those belong only in a lender's own secure application.
Where it goes
Your request is shared with one lender or licensed mortgage broker that we think suits the loan type and amount you asked about. They contact you directly. If you apply with them, their own privacy policy and credit-check consent apply from that point. We do not sell or rent your information to lists, and we do not send your request to multiple lenders at once.
We may receive a referral fee from the lender or broker we match you with. That fee is paid by them, not by you.
Cookies and tracking
No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, and no cookies of our own. The web host keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, page, browser) for security.
How long we keep it
As long as it takes to handle your request, plus a reasonable period for follow-up and our records. Voicemail recordings are deleted on a rolling schedule.
Your rights
Under Canada's PIPEDA you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email hello@calgarylending.com. Under CASL we contact you only about your own request and only with your consent; reply STOP to any text, or email the same address, to withdraw it.
